Van Gaal will be rewarded with New Contract
Success coach Louis van Gaal in giving the Bundesliga title and German Cup for Bayern Munich in the first season will be rewarded with new contracts.
Dutchman's contract will end in June next year. But Bayern chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge insisted his attitude to detain Van Gaal longer though failing to offer Champions League titles.
"We are delighted to see the performance of Van Gaal and we believe it," said Rummenigge told Suedeutsche Zeitung.
"If he gives the negotiation ready signal is executed. Our intention is to defend the seat coach," said the former Germany striker.
Rummenigge said the crucial issue that must be discussed with Van Gaal in the near future is the composition of the squad for next season.
A number of players will definitely leave. Reserve goalkeeper Michael Rensing, defender Andreas Goerlitz - Karlsruhe being borrowed - and Andreas Ottl Nuremberg borrowed almost certainly leave.
Meanwhile, midfielder Anatoliy Tymoshchuk and Hamit Altintop are also still unknown manner. Meanwhile, midfielder Toni Kroos, defender Breno Borges and Edson Braafheid who last season on loan will return to the Allianz Arena.
